Legendary jazz group, Spryo Grya, mentors students

Sypro Grya and Lee Ritenour kicked off The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion’s 25th performing arts season.  Lee Ritenour started the show with his style of contemporary jazz, while Spyro Gyra performed songs from their “Morning Dance” album.  Houston area students had an opportunity to attend their sound check.  The students also participated in a question and answer session prior to the concert.  R.A.D.S. Krusaders 2.0 were given the opportunity to perform on a side stage at the pavilion prior to the jazz concert.
