The Conrad Johnson Youth Orchestra receives a grant for $5,000

| February 24, 2012 | 0 Comments

Music Doing Good has just presented a grant for $5,000 to the Conrad Johnson Youth Orchestra to send these dedicated and talented children to perform in the New York City Jazz Festival at the prestigious Lincoln Center.  Many of these young musicians are from underserved populations in Houston area elementary through high schools.  Their visit to NYC will include a music college tour with suggested visits to Julliard and The New School.  Now that’s feeling good about doing good…and the kids will have a good time doing it.
