KTSU presented a scholarship to Noel Velasquez, a student in the Texas Southern University School of Communication.  The scholarship was presented at the 18th Annual Twelve Tastes of Christmas Scholarship Gala & Dance.  Noel along with Marcus Smith were given scholarships to continue and enhance their educational studies at Texas Southern University.
